Mellow Brown Coffee By Ucc (Sogo Causeway Bay)

The cafe was located underground in front of the downward escalator. The tables were placed on two sides and the place was not large. Patrons needed to wait sometime during most of the business hours. Chairs were provided along the entrance before tables were ready. Coffee was made with syphon and tasted great and smooth. Smelling the coffee around the bar was enjoyable. Pasta with oysters was delicious.

This cafe is located at the basement of Sogo department store. You can choose how you want to prepare the coffee, hand drip, espresso or siphon. The Siphon based coffee is well made. It is the same as the ones made in a lot of Japan cafes. You need to be patience as it will take longer time. The seating area is small and a little bit cranky but it emulates well as those in Japan.

This coffee shop in CWB Sogo has single person seat, make the place feel more Japan style. Lonely seat for lonely people. Very thoughtful. Coffee level not disappoint me. Is actually good, not just okay like I expect. Staff attitude and face expression have Japan flavor. They master the art of polite but distant. I almost feel like bother them when I order, very authentic experience.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Located underground at the Sogo department. We arrived at 11:30am on a weekday and there was already a line. It's better to come earlier or you might need to wait for more than 30 minutes. We ordered a shrimp and scallop spaghetti, a chicken and mushroom cheese bread and two iced fruit tea. There was a generous amount of fruits in the tea (strawberry, apple, kiwi, blueberry, orange, pineapple, and lemon). You can taste the sweetness from the fruit. Would definitely return to try the other dishes.
